Boerger Consulting, LLC, is a boutique consulting firm focused on helping businesses reduce the overall operational cost of their Information Technology (IT) department by properly managing, measuring, and tracking their hardware and software assets.
We leverage a unique view of IT Asset Management best practices and data theory to build out critical success factors (CSFs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) that directly and demonstrably relate to how well an IT department leveraging its hardware and software expenditures. These views and techniques are “tool agnostic” by design, so they can work with any software, hardware, or all-encompassing IT asset management systems. This information then becomes the basis for accurate and reliable hardware and software purchasing decisions, volume license agreement negotiations, and audit defense actions.
Boerger Consulting, LLC, was started by Jeremy Boerger in 2017. Mr. Boerger has over twenty years experience within the Information Technology sector, supporting manufacturing, healthcare, and global financial institutions. He realized a critical need surrounding the need to demonstratively prove formation within a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) was reliably accurate.
He draws his vision from a broad sampling of best business practices, such as ITIL, IAITAM, ISO 19770, IBSMA, and others. He has experience with licensing schemes and models from the likes of Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, IBM, Autodesk, Quest Software, Google, Apple, and others. He has successfully tested these concepts within service management services such as Flexera, ServiceNow, CA IT Asset Manager, and others.
Mr. Boerger is also available to speak at professional business groups and IT service organizations. He is also writing a book to further promote his data theory concepts as best business practices within the IT Asset Management sector.
